Hurstville City Library, Museum & Gallery (LMG) is a centre of cultural excellence which educates, inspires, and engages Hurstville's diverse community. Through its innovative programs and services, the LMG fosters creativity, celebrates local identity and supports life-long learning. Hurstville Museum & Gallery is one of three facilities that comprise this service.
Located in the centre of the Hurstville CBD, Hurstville Museum & Gallery is the only museum and gallery of its kind in the St George area. A popular destination for thousands of local and interstate visitors each year, the Museum & Gallery is a hub of continuous community activity, presenting talks, programs, special events and changing exhibitions.
Hurstville Museum & Gallery is dedicated to preserving the unique history of the St George region with an award-winning permanent exhibition titled 'Living on the Water's Edge: Stories of St George', as well as working with local multicultural communities to develop exciting art and history exhibitions and programs.
