Virtual Exhibition - First World War: in the field, at home and the aftermath

A series of online exhibitions on the impacts of the First World War from a Carnamah perspective

Our project is to develop a series of virtual museum exhibitions on the impacts of the First World War on the communities of Carnamah and surrounding districts.

The exhibitions will look at the community's contribution and tragedies in the field, what life was like at home during this time and the impacts following the war and a centenary of commemorations. The impacts after the war are of particular relevance to Carnamah as the Soldier Settlement Scheme opened four agricultural estates for repatriated soldiers in our district.
